Dahi-Mayo Sandwich

Mayonnaise sandwiches are easy to make and yummy to eat. It is also a good way to make your kid eat all the healthy veggies. But I always have this feeling of eating too much calories. So after lot of experiment now I use major portion of dahi with very less mayo making it as a guilt free enjoyment.

Ingredients

  • 4 Slices Bread
  • 0.5 Cup Curd Fresh hung
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 0.5 Cup Cucumber Grated
  • 0.5 Cup Carrot Grated
  • 0.5 Cup Cabbage Grated (Optional)
  • 0.5 tbsp Oregano
  • 0.5 tbsp Salt (as per your taste)
  • Pepper (as per your taste)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl take hung curd, mayo, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix them really well. Leave it for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Then add all grated veggies.
  3. Take 2 bread slices and cut all the corners. Spread butter on both the slices.
  4. On one slice spread the above mixture evenly. Top it with the other slice.
  5. Similarly make the another sandwich.
  6. Cut them into triangular shapes.

Recipe Notes

Serve it as a tea time snack or as a breakfast.
