Everyone love samosas…lets try making it with minimal of oil so that we can indulge in it without feeling guilty.

Baked Samosa using Air Fryer

Ingredients

For Samosa cover

  • 2 cups Refined flour (Maida)
  • Warm water (as required)
  • 0.25 cup Oil (or ghee)
  • Salte (as per taste)
  • 6 grams Aniseed (Ajwain)

For samosa filling

  • 400 gms Potatoes
  • Cashew (optional, as per taste)
  • Peas (optional, as per taste)
  • Raisins (optional, as per taste)
  • Peanuts (optional, as per taste)
  • 2 pieces Green cjillies finely chopped
  • 1 cm Ginger finely grated
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Dry mango powder
  • Salter (as per taste)
  • 1 cup Oil (for frying)

Instructions

Samosa cover

  1. Mix all the ingredients (salt, oil, ajwain). After mixing the ingredients add little warm water at a time. 

  2. Now pat and knead well for several times into a soft dough. After making it will cover it with a moist muslin cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes.

Samosa filling

  1. Take all boiled potatoes in a boil and peel them

  2. Now roughly mesh the potatoes.

  3. Heat oil in a pen.

  4. Add green chilies and ginger. Fry it for one minute.

  5. After that add meshed potatoes and add all the dry spices like salt, mango powder, garam masala and coriander powder. Mix them well. After mixing them keep aside for cooling.

Make Somosas

  1. For that we ill take small rolls of dough and roll it into 4" diameter circle

  2. Then cut the circle into two parts like semi-circle

  3. Take one of the semi-circle, and fold like a cone. Use water to glue edges

  4. Place a spoon of filing in the cone and seal the third side using a drop of water.

  5. So now your samosa is ready to fry. Now keep all the samosas in a plate

  6. Pre-heat the air fryer at 180 degree centrigrades for 5 minutes

  7. While your oven getting ready for the heating-up, we will brush to samosas with little oil.

  8. Now air fryer is pre-heated, we will arrange the samosas in it.

  9. Now set the air fryer at same temperature for 18 minutes or till they become golden browen

  10. Now samosas are ready with beaultiful golden brown color and are ready to be served

  11. You can serve the somosas with green chutney or any other chuteny you like.
